Our Story
Hi, I’m Jennifer – an almost-retired assistant principal with 29.5 years of experience keeping schools running, students thriving, and somehow still making it to family dinners.
As a mom and longtime military wife, I’ve spent decades juggling schedules, supporting others, and holding down the fort – sometimes literally.
One night, while scrolling TikTok, I saw someone selling desserts from a bike and thought:
“Wait… I could totally do that.”
Cue the hobby spiral.
What started as a fun weekend project quickly became a full-blown obsession – testing cookie recipes, churning ice cream, and dreaming up a way to bring joy, nostalgia, and sprinkles to the streets. We do everything ourselves—from making the ice cream and baking the cookies to designing the website, creating the menu and labels, and even building the bike from the ground up.
You’ll see my husband playing chauffeur, my daughter serving sweet treats and running our social media pages, and my youngest son right beside us, handing out ice cream sandwiches with a big smile. Sadly, my oldest son can’t join us – he’s about to serve our country full time in the military, and we couldn’t be prouder.
We’re a family-powered sweet ride, and we’d love for you to follow along or reach out—we’re always up for spreading smiles (and maybe a few cookie crumbs).
Now, Sweet Ride Creamery is my next chapter – a rolling ice cream sandwich bike with a whole lot of heart behind it.
